Responsible Parenting
Through this project we provide responsible parenting sessions where parents are introduced to different types of birth control devices. The sessions are organized in schools and communities and taught by a local nurse.

Our Mission
Skills For Change is an inspiring circular fashion project initiated by Einstein Rising in partnership with Malaika4wc Vzw. Its primary objective is to empower unemployed youths, underprivileged individuals, and aspiring fashion enthusiasts by equipping them with valuable tailoring skills. Through this collaborative initiative, we envision a future where sustainable practices and job creation go hand in hand.
Main Activity
Tailoring
We want to offer vulnerable women (single mothers with able-bodied and disabled children, widows, etc.) the opportunity to choose a better life for themselves and their children. We provide handicraft training opportunities to enable them to work and gain income for their well-being. We work with reusable materials and teach the women to make sellable products like reusable diaper pants and sanitary pads.
Other Project Activities
The Safe Water Project
Even tap water is not safe and every year, many young children under the age of 5 pass on from drinking contaminated water. By offering a water filter, children will have a better chance of survival. Malaika4wc sponsors the first water filter for women/parents in need, to encourage the need for safe water.

Together, we can break the silence and ensure every woman and girl has the basic tools they need to manage their period with dignity and confidence.
Cycle of Care
Skills for Change's Omukyala campaign: Cycle of Care is transforming lives in Uganda and empowering women and girls. This campaign aims to provide 500 'five-in-one' packets to vulnerable women and girls, offering essential support and resources for a brighter future. Our reusable sanitary pads represent a chance to restore dignity, health, and hope.
