Kampala Impact Day
Kampala Impact Day is an annual event that brings together different players in the social entrepreneurship start-up ecosystem like innovators, government, private sector, development partners, impact investors, business angels, incubators, associations etc. to improve visibility of the impact social enterprises have on improving people’s lives, creating sustainable employment and the planet.
The Kampala Impact Day is a social enterprise ecosystem event that fosters collective and collaborative approaches to accelerate tremendous growth and ultimate participation in the sector. It is a boisterous day that brings various social entrepreneurs to showcase/exhibit their innovations to the attendees, networking between stakeholders, co-creation sessions clustered into sectors that facilitate real collaboration, pitching the best innovations and panel discussions.
Annual Earth Day Celebration
Together with Earth Day Uganda (embed their link) we organize the annual Earth Day Celebration to contribute and drive strategic positive actions towards conserving our planet, joining the rest of the world in celebrating the Earth Day Movement. We have been able to mobilize different youth, communities, volunteers and partner organizations to participate in fighting the environmental and climatic crises by engaging in our previous campaigns like planting trees, environmental literacy etc.
Our ambition is to widen and mobilize the future army of young environmentally conscious people that support and contribute to a sustainable environment and address climate change outcries vigilantly.
EROVO
Rising and Ondernemers voor Ondernemers (OVO), with the support of the European Union and the Sustainable Business for Uganda Platform (SB4U).
The initiative aims to promote increased impact investment in Uganda by creating a dynamic blended finance social impact investment ecosystem that brings together local, regional, and European investors with capital to explore co-investment opportunities in sustainable and impactful scale-up social enterprises.
Masterclasses and Webinars
The Master Classes are organized on the basis of bridging the gap between prominent professionals/experts and entrepreneurs, innovators or the youth through creating an open engagement platform to share versed firsthand knowledge, experiences and advice. A variety of suitably out sourced experts prepare relevant industry and practical based information/data regarding particular fields/topics in form of presentations that they share with our diverse audience that attends virtually and physically in a top-notch mentoring experience.
Together with our different supporting partners we facilitate the Master Classes in order to provide a platform for expertise training and mentorship, solicit, empower and equip the youths with professional support and knowledge to guide their decision making on technical issues that influence and affect their personal and business growth. These are in the areas like Business Development, Marketing, Fundraising, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Investment Readiness, Innovation Management, Financing and Accounting, Management, Public Speaking, Communications etc.
